Knights of Council 770,

Remember when we started the Catholic Daughters - Charlotte Court in 1933?  
Our Knights of Columbus, Council 770 was just 30 years old when we reached out 
to our Ladies and sponsored the Catholic Daughters - Charlotte Court #1199.  
This is the oldest Court of North Carolina and they just had their 
Seventy-Fifth Anniversary last Saturday at the Diocese of Charlotte Hall.  The Celebrant 
of the Mass was Msgr. Mauricio W. West and the Court Charlotte Regent was Essie 
Walker.  Bishop Peter Jugis also attended and congratulated the Charlotte 
Court of about 50 ladies and Guests, along with the NC State Master, Bob 
Grabowski and his wife, the North Carolina State Regent.  

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is a Catholic Women's Organization 
whose motto is Unity and Charity, and they are dedicated to their patroness, the 
Blessed Mother, Mary.  The Council 770 Knights of Columbus honor our sisters 
on this celebration of their 75th Year of Service.
