Subject: [Kofc770GroupMail] Knights of Council 770 Meeting - Tuesday -
March4, 2008

Knights,

The meeting next Tuesday will be Full of Plans for the Spring Activities.
The following are planned, but we will have additions from the Assembled as
you bring more activities to the meeting.

Meeting starts at 8:00 PM - After Coffee and donuts..

1- LAMB - for the Least Among My Brethren -We have donated over $500
to both the Metro School and the Nevin Center this year.
This is addition to the Donations earlier to the Holy Angels.
2- Helping our Brother Deacon Jerry Hickey move to a one floor house.
Jerry was trying his best to move, but after his second stroke, he
kept
getting dizzy and his wife Joan was concerned for his health. So
that
is what Brother Knights do best helping out our Brother in need.
The Youth
Group and Women's Group helped the Knights Pack up and then The
Knights
hired 3 men and a truck -- and split the cost between Councils 770
& 9560.
3- Friday $7 Fish Fry's Joint Council 770 & 9560 Annual Program. We are
half done but need more help for the next 3 Friday's at St.
Vincent's. Come
on over and enjoy the Fish, (Fried or Baked), or Lasagna, Salad &
Coleslaw,
Rolls and Bread Sticks, Tatter tots, and fish sticks for the kids.
Drinks,
coffee and soda's are included and deserts are only $1 extra. Most
important,
Knights put this on for our Community Service and we need your
HELP.
4- Charity Ticket Sales - Trip to Alaska or Hawaii - Please send in your
ticket
stubs & $ so we can complete this program. So far we only have
half the
tickets returned. Remember - you cannot win if you do not buy a
ticket.
5- First Degree Meeting on Sunday, March 9 at 7:00PM -St. Thomas Aquinas

This is on Sunday PM so most of the new members should be able to
attend.
I will send out notices to our list of prospects, and I need more
names from
you Knights when you meet prospects.. Let me know and Invite them
to be
Knights of Columbus.. And strengthen their faith.
6-St. Patrick's Day Parade - March 15- Saturday 10:00 line up. - We have
been
asked to turn out BIG for this Catholic Event.. All Knights can
march. We
have again volunteered our Council 770 Hall as the Gathering Point
for the
Knights Marchers - starting at 9:00 AM with coffee and donuts. We
will
carpool to the start of the Parade - Sign up at the meeting.
7- Report on our Projects to the State Meeting. - DGK Jason Murphy will lead
us
in our Final Year End Project Report to State. This is for one
project we have
completed this year that has Charity, Unity, Service to our Faith,
Reaching
a large number of the Knights and Parish Community and Significant
to the
         Knights and our Catholic Community.

If you have any more items let me know before the meeting.

Vivat Jesus,

Ray Maxson - Grand Knight
Bishop Michael J. Begley - Council 770 -
